Apple removes these loan apps from App Store in India heres why

Apple has removed several predatory loan apps from its App Store in India after receiving complaints from users. These loan apps were found to engage in unethical practices, such as posing as financial institutions, charging high fees, and threatening borrowers for repayment. The apps were also reported to require invasive access to users' contact lists and media. Apple stated that these apps violated its rules and guidelines for the Apple Developer Program License Agreement. In 2022, the App Store declined nearly 1.7 million app submissions and prevented over $2 billion in fraudulent transactions.
